Elics Basis Ltd. has build all mobile application as a Free application. Elics Basis Ltd. need to collect some data about you so that it can provide you with the best services. ProxWay ID mobile application
Basic Provisions
Proxway ID — application for access to the premises using BLE.
Required Permissions
Applications require access to the following functions of your device:
iOS
- Location When In Use — permission to discover Bluetooth devices.
- Location Allways and When In Use — permission for application run in the background mode.
- Bluetooth Always — permission to view and connect to paired Bluetooth devices
- Camera — permission to access to the camera for QR codes reading.
Android
- BLUETOOTH — permission to view and connect to paired Bluetooth devices.
- BLUETOOTH_ADMIN — permission to discover and pair with Bluetooth devices.
- BLUETOOTH_SCAN — permission to discover Bluetooth devices on Android 12 (API level 31)
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE — permission to show a status bar notification, so that users are actively aware that your app is performing a task in the foreground and is consuming system resources.
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION — permission for application use Bluetooth devices scan results.
- ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION — permission to discover Bluetooth devices on Android 10 (API level 29) or Android 11 in the background.
- CAMERA — access to the camera for QR codes reading.
- VIBRATE — for vibration feedback when the lock is opened.
- INTERNET — for QR code validation.
- REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS — permission to run the application even if the device is not in use when the user has activated the hands-free mode
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
User will use ProxWay ID application as identifier to get access through the access point (door, turnstyle etc.). Application do not store, pass and do not need User personal data.
For the get identifier User will scan special QR-code with special link. The access to the Internet may be necessary via Wi-Fi or mobile data transmission networks for identifier takeover.
This identifier is later transmitted from the phone to ProxWay access control reader using BLE technology. During use of the application, the application have to discover BLE devices.
This can be seen as locating the user, however this location information is not collected and not transmitted anywhere, this function is used only to find nearest BLE device.
We are not collecting or using any other personal data. The information that we use will be retained by us and used only as described in this privacy policy.
The application does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

LOG DATA
We want to inform you that we don«t use any logs, so we are not using any your information for it.
COOKIES
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
This service does not use these «cookies».
